Mr Katsuhiko Oku

That this House expresses its deepest sympathy to the family of the Japanese Diplomat Mr Katsuhiko Oku who was killed in Iraq with a fellow diplomat Mr Masamori Inoue from the Japanese Embassy in Jordan and their driver Jerjis Sulaiman Zora while travelling to a reconstruction conference in Tikrit; notes that Mr Oku was serving in the Japanese Embassy in London and was known to the honourable and Right honourable members of the British-Japanese Parliamentary Group and to the Parliamentary Rugby Team for whom he helped organise a tour of Japan and against whom he played; and extends its condolences to His Excellency Ambassador Orita and members of the Embassy on the tragic loss of their colleague.
