CRUSE BEREAVEMENT CARE

That this House recognises the invaluable service of Cruse Bereavement Care to bereaved people in the United Kingdom; applauds its vital contribution to the Asian tsunami effort by helping bereaved families returning to Heathrow Airport and families of British 9/11 victims; furthermore recognises its vital contribution to health care in the UK; is concerned that core funding for 2005-06 in England is currently ??30,000; and calls on the Government to support current applications for a substantial increase to this fund to enable Cruse to deliver its unique free counselling service for bereaved people in the UK.
