GREYHOUND WELFARE
That this House welcomes the recent report of the Environment Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee on the draft Animal Welfare Bill; notes its recommendation that external, independent regulation of all greyhound tracks is essential; welcomes its call that draft statutory regulations should be published as soon as possible; and urges the Government to accept the Select Committee's recommendations.
