NELSON MANDELA'S APPEAL TO G7
That this House applauds the attendance of Nelson Mandela at the Making Poverty History rally held at Trafalgar Square on 3rd February, raising the awareness of the crippling effects of global poverty; commends his remarks that the G7 should not 'look the other way' whilst recognising that 'the world is hungry for action not words'; and urges the Government not to ignore his appeal to act with 'courage and vision'.
