That this House, appalled by the cyclone disaster in the Bay of Bengal, expresses its deepest sympathy with the people of Bangladesh at their grievous loss of lives and possessions; notes with sympathy Prime Minister Begum Zia's call for international aid; and urges Her Majesty's Government to make an immediate, effective and generous response.
