Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Clive Efford (Labour), on Wednesday, 9 March 2005, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 19 members in total.

BEXLEYHEATH LINE SERVICES TO VICTORIA

That this House is extremely dismayed at the failure of the Strategic Rail Authority to consult over plans to remove train services to Victoria on the Bexleyheath Line; notes that the consultation paper published in February 2004 proposed six trains per hour throughout the day which included two trains to Victoria; considers these new plans to be such a major departure from the original proposals that they have rendered the consultation invalid; and calls on the Government to instruct the Strategic Rail Authority to hold a further consultation to allow those most affected by these proposals to express their views.
