BRAIN INJURY AWARENESS WEEK

That this House supports Brain Injury Awareness Week, from 14th to 20th March; welcomes the National Service Framework for Long-term Medical Conditions, which recognises the importance of early and specialist rehabilitation for brain injury survivors, the need for continuing community support through organisations such as Headway and the key role played by families and carers; and encourages health and social care providers to plan for early implementation of the quality requirements set out in the NSF.
