ENGLISH WINES
That this House congratulates English wine producers for the steady improvements in the quality and availability of English wines; urges the Government to support this growing industry by all possible means; requests all Government departments and United Kingdom embassies and ministries overseas to serve domestically-produced wine at all official functions where wine is appropriate; and calls on the Government to make all possible use of the UK presidency of the European Union to promote awareness of the excellent wines produced in England.
