Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Rob Marris (Labour), on Monday, 14 November 2005, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 35 members in total.
WALKWAY IN STAR CHAMBER COURT
That this House expresses its amazement and consternation that, even though the cover being erected over the short walkway by Star Chamber Court is costing an extraordinary ??422,000, it is a hazard to taller persons, including for example the honourable Members for Shrewsbury and Atcham, Bedfordshire South West, Berwickshire Roxburgh and Selkirk, and Wolverhampton South West; and believes the money would have been better spent on improving the environmental performance of the House of Commons.
