LIBERAL DEMOCRAT CONTROLLED BRISTOL CITY COUNCIL'S NO BLAME APPROACH TO SCHOOL BULLYING

That this House notes bullying is always wrong, that bullying should be punished, and that children who bully need to understand the full seriousness of their actions; condemns Liberal Democrat controlled Bristol City Council for its continuing recommendation to teachers that they should not punish or blame pupils who bully other pupils; and calls on that Council to amend urgently its ill-judged and dangerous anti-bullying guidance to schools.
