Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Mike Hancock (Liberal Democrat), on Monday, 12 December 2005, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 10 members in total.
GALES BREWERY, HORNDEAN
That this House expresses its grave concern over the future of Gales brewery, in Horndean, following the takeover by Fullers, not only because of the local jobs which may be lost, but also the unique beer, characterised by famous ales such as HSB, which are made from local water; therefore gives full support to the Save Our Pint campaign, organised by Portsmouth Campaign for Real Ale, and The News; and wishes them every success.
