That this House mourns the sad passing of Dr Zaki Badawi who passed away on 24th January; remembers Dr Badawi as a leading Islamic scholar and respected community leader; recognises his immense contribution to community relations and inter-faith dialogue both in the UK and across the world; shares his belief that diversity strengthens and enriches society and that there is no contradiction in being both Muslim and British; and sends its sympathies to Dr Badawi's wife and family.
