Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Derek Conway (Conservative), on Tuesday, 7 February 2006, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 117 members in total.
JUBILEE SAILING TRUST
That this House recognises the success of the Jubilee Sailing Trust in changing the lives of over 26,000 people of all physical abilities through sharing the challenge and adventure of tall ship sailing; and urges the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry to review sympathetically its application to restructure the terms of his Department's Home Shipbuilding Credit Guarantee Scheme loan, secured against the specially designed tall ships Tenacious and Lord Nelson, to ensure these remarkable ships continue in operation.
