GATESHEAD COUNCIL'S PENUMBRA PROJECT
That this House congratulates Gateshead Council on the success of its Penumbra Project to attract men back into learning; recognises that under one quarter of adult learners in Gateshead are men; notes that the project has exceeded its own ambitious targets for success; and further notes that other local authorities could learn from the innovative methods, radical thinking and experience of Gateshead Council in managing this project.
