SEASONAL UNEMPLOYMENT

That this House notes with concern that many coastal resorts in the UK experience seasonal employment fluctuations; is concerned that many workers in resorts experience low wages and employment uncertainty; further notes that the Government has no specific strategy to ensure year-round sustainable, fairly-paid employment; and calls on the Government to consider policies to address the difficulties coastal resort economies face out of the summer season.
