Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Daniel Kawczynski (Conservative), on Monday, 11 December 2006, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 54 members in total.

SUPERMARKETS AND THE DAIRY MARKET

That this House notes the current media interest in supermarkets' exploitation of cheap labour markets in the Third World; condemns such practices; further notes with concern the lack of media interest in the same exploitation occurring to the domestic dairy market as supermarkets drive for lower prices; and calls on the supermarkets to acknowledge this practice and pay a fair price for milk.
