HOSPITAL BEDSIDE TELEPHONES
That this House, recalling the concern expressed in January and May 2006 by many hon. Members about the high cost of incoming calls to hospital bedside telephones provided by Patientline, Premier and Hospital Telephone Services, notes that charges have not yet been reduced; and calls on the Government to find a practical solution which results in a call cost acceptable to patients, friends and family, NHS trusts, Ofcom and the providers.
