BAHA'I COMMUNITY IN IRAN

That this House notes the reports of the targeting of Baha'i children in Iran for harassment, vilification and abuse across multiple locations in Iran; further notes that the persecution of these children is being conducted by their teachers and school administrators, and that abuse of these students extends to primary and high school age children, some of whom have been dismissed from school; and calls on the UK Government to remind the Iranian authorities of their obligations under the Convention of the Rights of the Child, in particular articles 14 and 28.
