Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor John Bercow (Conservative), on Monday, 9 July 2007, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 42 members in total.
JEWISH COMMUNITY AND DARFUR
That this House welcomes the important contributions made by Jewish community groups both in the UK and internationally that advocate on behalf of and provide humanitarian aid to assist the people suffering due to the ongoing crisis in Darfur; and recognises that while community organisations play a supporting role, it is ultimately governments that must take further action satisfactorily to resolve the conflict.
