Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Angus Brendan MacNeil (Scottish National Party), on Tuesday, 18 March 2008, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 27 members in total.
IRAQ WAR INQUIRY
That this House believes that, as it has been five years since the start of the Iraq war, a wide-ranging inquiry into the commencement and conduct of the conflict is long overdue and such an inquiry should be led by a seven person committee of Her Majesty's Privy Councillors charged with examination of the conduct of the Government in relation to the Iraq War both in the period leading up to military operations and afterwards.
