Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Michael Latham (Conservative), on Tuesday, 17 July 1990, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 12 members in total.
Attack upon Jewish Children
That this House notes the following news item headed 'School Stabbings' which appeared on page 10 of the Daily Telegraph of 17th July, two thirds of the way down column eight, namely 'four boys, aged six to eight, were stabbed by a woman at an Auckland Jewish school while she shouted anti-Jewish slogans. A woman of 52 was charged with attempted murder and remanded to a hospital'; notes that that incident received no mention at all in The Times, The Guardian or The Independent; and contrasts the tiny Press attention given to a brutal attack on Jewish children by an apparently deranged woman with the massive publicity given to the dreadful murder of seven Palestinians recently by an equally deranged Jew.

- Leave out from 'House' to end and add, 'notes that violence employed against Palestinian children by the Israeli military occupation forces, as part of their attempt to suppress the intifada, is brutal, indiscriminate and recurrent and that since December 1987 159 children under 16 years of age have been slaughtered and over 50, 000 wounded either by shooting, beating or gassing; notes that judicial murder investigations, when carried out, show discrepancies and dilution of facts with families suffering intimidation and military intervention at funerals; notes that access to emergency medical treatment is often obstructed; and that deteriorating health conditions and living standards are causing an increase in disease and malnutrition; and calls for international action to bring this savagery to an end.'.
