That this House supports the Government's cash injection for HBOS and Lloyds TSB; calls on the Government in its role as part owner of these banks to do all in its power to protect 1,300 Gloucestershire jobs at the Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society, a key component of the Lloyds TSB chain; and further calls on the Government and senior management at Lloyds TSB to do all in their power to protect the respected and renowned Cheltenham and Gloucester brand name.
