Prisoners of Conscience in Kenya

That this House notes the recent detention of several prisoners of conscience in Kenya, including former members of parliament George Anyana, Andrew Ngunika, and Kirihi Kiruhi Mondu and parliamentary candidate Patrick Mukiri, as well as lawyers such as Keith Matiba and prisoners of conscience John Khaminwa, Raila Odinga, Gitobu Imanyara and Charles Rubia; registers its concern that thy are being held in administrative detention without charge; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to make representations to the government of Kenya either to release them or bring them to trial without delay.
