Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Brian Sedgemore (Labour), on Tuesday, 15 January 1991, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 12 members in total.

FUTURE OF THE WELSH NATIONAL OPERA (NO. 2)

That this HOuse views with horror the idea that the divine singing and sublime art of the Welsh National Opera could come to an end because of the incompetence of the Arts Council in distributing monies from the Enhancement Fund; and calls on the Chairman of the Arts Council to stop this madness.
