Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Norman Baker (Liberal Democrat), on Wednesday, 14 January 2009, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 26 members in total.
OCEAN VIEW PROPERTIES
That this House is concerned by the business practices of Ocean View Properties; expresses its concern that properties on which Ocean View have taken deposits have failed to materialise, and in some cases have not even secured planning permission; is particularly worried that innocent people have lost millions of pounds having invested in such developments, and have been unable to obtain a refund; and strongly urges the relevant authorities to conduct a full and proper investigation into the business practices of Ocean View Properties and all other associated parties involved.
