Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor David Lepper (Labour), on Thursday, 22 January 2009, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 26 members in total.

BEIT LAHIA UN SCHOOL

That this House is appalled by the attack, which included the use of phosphorus shells, on the Beit Lahia UN School, Gaza in which two children were killed and many other people injured; notes the call by UN representatives for an independent investigation into the attack and the view of Amnesty International that there is prima facie evidence of war crimes; and calls upon the Government to support an independent international inquiry into this case to consider if there are grounds for a reference to the International Criminal Court.
