Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Robert Parry (Labour), on Wednesday, 26 February 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 36 members in total.
LIVERPOOL FAMILY SERVICE UNIT
That this House notes with alarm the possible closure of the Liverpool Family Service Unit through lack of funding; feels that such a serious step would affect those families in the greatest need; and calls upon the Government to assist voluntary bodies which provide this essential service, with particular reference to the inadequate financial support to help them implement the new Children Act.
