Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Peter Robinson (Democratic Unionist Party), on Tuesday, 3 March 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 4 members in total.
CONDUCT OF THE RIGHT HONOURABLE MEMBER FOR YEOVIL
That this House deprecates the statement made by the Right honourable Member for Yeovil that in a new parliament he and his party not only would perpetuate the life of the Anglo-Irish Agreement but would seek to build upon it; notes that while announcing his desire to strengthen Dublin's role he was standing beside the Leader of the small Northern Ireland Alliance Party and speaking in support of their candidates; believes that the Anglo-Irish Agreement has contributed to the violence and instability in Northern Ireland; and urges its replacement by a system that enjoys the consent of the people of Northern Ireland.
