Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor James Lamond (Labour), on Wednesday, 4 March 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 34 members in total.

PERFORMANCE RELATED PAY IN GOVERNMENT RELATED ORGANISATIONS

That this House views with concern the pressure applied by Her Majesty's Government on non-departmental bodies and other grant-aided organisations to introduce so called performance related pay; notes that there is no evidence to suggest that performance related pay improves performance; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to desist from requiring non-departmental and grant-aided bodies from introducing performance related pay systems.
