Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Michael Connarty (Labour), on Monday, 22 February 2010, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 34 members in total.
CODE OF PRACTICE FOR ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY
That this House welcomes the Office of Fair Trading's full approval of a consumer code of practice for the assistive technology and healthcare industry to be regulated by the British Healthcare Trades Association; and notes that each year 15 million people depend on assisted technology to enable a better quality of life and that the code will provide them with reassurance that products and services are of the highest value and will give consumers a robust method of complaint.
