OIL EXPLORATION IN FALKLAND ISLANDS WATERS
That this House deprecates the behaviour of the Argentine government in seeking to frustrate the exploratory oil drilling taking place in Falkland Islands waters; supports the right of the Falkland Islands government to undertake such drilling in their own sovereign waters; and urges the UK Government to continue its denunciation of the Argentine government's position and to monitor the situation closely, ensuring the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands at all times.
