Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Norman Baker (Liberal Democrat), on Wednesday, 24 February 2010, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 24 members in total.

UNION RIGHTS

That this House notes with concern allegations that the National Union of Rail and Maritime Transport Workers (RMT) has been refused permission to post notices within bus depots in London; further notes with concern the allegation that this refusal is a result of considerable pressure exerted by other unions on employers; supports the right of all unions properly to represent their members and be informed and consulted about decisions; and calls on Transport for London and London bus companies to allow the RMT and any other union to post notices and represent their members.
