That this House notes with sadness the passing of Michael Foot, the former hon. Member for Plymouth, Devonport and right hon. Member for Ebbw Vale and Blaenau Gwent; regards him as one of the outstanding parliamentarians of his era; and calls on the House authorities to find a way to recognise the enormous contribution of this extraordinary parliamentarian.
