Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor John McDonnell (Labour), on Wednesday, 10 March 2010, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 22 members in total.
TUBE LINES
That this House expresses its concern that the dispute between Transport for London, Tube Lines and the independent arbiter over the funding of the Tube network upgrades threatens to force Tube Lines to follow Metronet into administration as the public private partnership imposed by the Government descends further into chaos; and therefore calls on the Government to act to prevent any further instability in the funding of the upgrade of London Underground by bringing the Tube Lines contract back into the public sector.
