Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Andrew Pelling (Independent (affiliation)), on Tuesday, 30 March 2010, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 16 members in total.
CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT FOR THE OVER-65S
That this House regrets that the Equality Bill does not go far enough to safeguard the rights of motivated people over the age of 65 in or seeking employment; and calls for the Government to legislate to ensure that every person in the United Kingdom has the freedom and autonomy to choose when to exit employment.
