LICENSING OF LIVE MUSIC
That this House welcomes the continuing rise of outstanding UK folk, blues and bluegrass bands; notes the success of bands such as Up All Night, Stolen Property and the Toy Hearts; believes that their success represents a resurgence in live music across the country; and calls on the Government to ensure licensing rules are structured to promote live music and not to silence it with red tape and fees.
