Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Ian McCartney (Labour), on Wednesday, 5 February 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 41 members in total.
SAMUEL THOMAS ANTONELLI AND LEASEHOLD REFORM (No.2)
That this House calls upon the Secretary of State for the Home Department to review as a matter of urgency the residence permit currently granted to Samuel Thomas Antonelli and to refuse renewal of that permit on the grounds that Antonelli has been convicted of harassing tenants and has failed to pay to his tenants the damages awarded against him by the courts, and further believes that for Antonelli to remain in the United Kingdom would be against the interests of law abiding citizens within the United Kingdom.
