Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Bill Walker (Conservative), on Wednesday, 12 February 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 4 members in total.
ROYAL NAVAL AIRCRAFT WORKSHOPS, ALMONDBANK
That this House notes that the Right honourable Member for Epsom and Ewell, Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence, has acknowledged and recognised the skill and the loyalty of the Almondbank workforce who carry out third-line maintenance for all three of the United Kingdom's armed services; and further notes that a separatist Socialist Nationalist Scotland would not have sufficient armed forces helicopters to keep the Almondbank workforce employed and the workshops would have to close.
