Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Dennis Skinner (Labour), on Thursday, 20 February 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 55 members in total.
SACKED MINERS AND ECONOMIC LEAGUE BLACKLIST
That this House condemns the pernicious and undemocratic Economic League for victimising former miners for their political beliefs by circulating their names to potential employers in a vicious attempt to discredit them; and blames this evil organisation for the death of a former miner whose name was on the Economic League's list and who committed suicide because he could not find a job.
