EXPORTING FOR BRITAIN
That this House recognises that exporting is good for Britain and welcomes the fact that businesses are engines of growth through exporting; further recognises the size and persistence of the UK's trade deficit and understands the need to rebalance the UK economy towards exports to secure recovery and long-term prosperity; welcomes the British Chambers of Commerce's role as lead supporter of international trade, delivering support and specialist advice to Britain's exporting community; and understands that businesses exporting play a crucial role in national recovery.
