Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Paul Flynn (Labour), on Tuesday, 8 January 2013, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 9 members in total.

SUCCESSION TO THE CROWN BILL 2012

That this House believes that the Succession to the Crown Bill, to which amendments and new clauses have been tabled, cannot be adequately considered by both Houses in a single day; notes the expressed fear that the Bill may have unintended consequences leading to the disestablishment of the Church of England; and is convinced that a Bill of supreme importance to the future constitution of the UK merits thorough consideration.
