RECOGNITION OF WOMEN'S CONTRIBUTION TO WORLD WAR 1 AND WORLD WAR 2

That this House calls on the Government to investigate how best to recognise the dedication and sacrifice of Britain's civilian women who kept the home fires burning during the two World Wars and in building the peace that followed; and further calls on the Government to include this recognition in the nation's commemoration of the beginning of World War 1 in 2014.
