ROYAL LANCASTER INFIRMARY
That this house notes that on Saturday 5th December 2015 there was a major incident called at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary to deal with the effects of Storm Desmond; further notes that the storm caused flooding and a power outage which meant the Royal Lancaster Infirmary was running on a generator; and congratulates all of the staff at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, from catering, domestic, facilities, administration and medical staff for their dedication to patients and for getting to work through the flooding to ensure the hospital was working as normal to look after patients.
