NEW INN YEALAND COMMUNITY PUB

That this House notes the Community Benefit Society which has been set up to re-open the New Inn in Yealand as a community pub; congratulates the organising committee for securing 168 investors of which 86 per cent are from Yealand and its surrounding villages; recognises that the pub should be the hub of the community; and further congratulates the organising committee for pursuing the purchase of the pub so it can be used generations to come.
