Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor David Amess (Conservative), on Wednesday, 29 June 2016, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 1 members in total.
PERFORMANCE OF THE ENGLAND FOOTBALL TEAM
That this House very much regrets the performance of the England football team in the European Championships 2016; believes that they are overpaid and underperform; and calls on the Football Association to not just gloss over their miserable defeat but work towards producing home-grown players who are capable of playing as a team and are proud to represent their country.
