Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Alan Meale (Labour), on Tuesday, 19 July 2016, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 35 members in total.
EU HIGHER EDUCATION LINKS
That this House is aware that many UK university matters and projects are connected with the EU, in particular its visiting student population and research projects; notes that EU undergraduate student levels in most British higher educational establishments are now so high as to contribute a significant proportion of their annual incomes, with post-graduate investment in research and development being an essential fiscal element in most successful programmes; believes that it is of primary importance to continue such success; and calls on the Government urgently to develop ways to meet the challenge of continuing for these genuine partnerships in the field of higher education.
