Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Gordon Marsden (Labour), on Wednesday, 14 September 2016, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 9 members in total.
BLACKPOOL BLUE LIGHT WALK FOR MENTAL HEALTH
That this House applauds the Bluelight Walk initiative by four members of Blackpool Ambulance Station to raise money for awareness for Mind's Bluelight Programme to help members of the emergency services to be given mental health support; wishes the very best to Richard Morton, Dan Farnworth, Gill Despard and Philip Baggaley from the Blackpool station, who will begin the walk on 25 September 2016 at Scarborough RNLI Station and end at RNLI Blackpool on 30 September 2016; and hopes that their 160 mile journey across the Pennines from Yorkshire to Lancashire will be cheered by support, sponsorship and heightened awareness of all the pressures Ambulance and other services endure in the line of duty.
