Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Peter Bottomley (Conservative), on Monday, 20 March 2017, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 1 members in total.

NATIONAL HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL AND LEARNING CENTRE

That this House understands that the Government has accepted the recommendations of the Holocaust Commission whose report indicated suitable sites near Tate Britain at Millbank, near City Hall at Potters Field and by the Imperial War Museum; notes the apparent failure to consult locally and more widely before the proposal to try to shoe-horn an extensive, prominent Memorial and Learning Centre onto and into the small public open Victoria Tower Gardens; and calls on the Government to suspend the process in order to consider objections in the Jewish Chronicle by users of the Garden and by those who prefer a choice of one of the first three sites.
