35TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FALKLANDS WAR
That this House commemorates the 35th anniversary of the Falklands War which began on 2 April 1982 and lasted until 14 June 1982; solemnly remembers the three Falkland civilians, 255 British and 650 Argentine service personnel who lost their lives; recognises the courage and bravery of UK forces who defended the sovereign rights of the Falkland islanders to remain British; and wholeheartedly reaffirms the UK's commitment to the people of the Falklands.
