WORLD DIABETES DAY 2017
That this House supports World Diabetes Day on 4 November 2017 when millions of people around the world come together to raise awareness of diabetes; congratulates the International Diabetes Federation for running this annual campaign; and commends those who have helped make the blue light challenge a success where monuments and local landmarks in areas across the country turn blue in support of this day in particular the Trafalgar Square Fountain, top floor of City Hall, London, the Olympic Stadium, London, Manchester Town Hall, the candlestick and a harbour light in Whitehaven, Cumbrian, One Canada Square, London, St Mary's Lighthouse, North Tyneside, with the cities Liverpool and Leicester along with many others nationwide.
